How to edit pdf text free — no upload, no watermark
Click and drag on a page to place a text or whiteout box. Move it, pull a corner to resize, type the new wording. Nothing is uploaded. This guide is for ProMaxPDF on promaxpdf.pro. The file never leaves your browser — students and businesses use the same local engine.
- Open the tool. No account. The page loads the editor in your browser.
- Add files. Drop files onto the page. They are read locally and never uploaded.
- Edit. Choose Draw text or Draw whiteout, then click and drag on the page to the size you need. Select a box to move it or pull a corner to resize. Type in a text box, then download.
- Download. The result is saved to your device. Nothing is stored on a server.

Why can’t I highlight the original PDF words?
The page is a picture for editing. Cover the old line with whiteout or a text box, then type the replacement. Drag any corner to match the line.
Will the original font be kept?
New text uses Helvetica. Unusual embedded fonts are not rewritten in place.
Are files uploaded?
No.
