How to extract text free — no upload, no watermark
PDF.js reads the text content. Works on any PDF that already has a text layer. This guide is for ProMaxPDF on promaxpdf.pro. The file never leaves your browser — students and businesses use the same local engine.
- Open the tool. No account. The page loads the editor in your browser.
- Add files. Drop files onto the page. They are read locally and never uploaded.
- Extract. Download a .txt file of the document text.
- Download. The result is saved to your device. Nothing is stored on a server.
